A personal blog has just one author. Only he or she can make posts or edit the
calendar and photo albums. However, any reader may add a comment to the blog.
When a personal blog is created by someone other than yourself, we call it a
"friend blog"
A group blog has many authors, which we call "contributors." Every contributor
has full control over the blog, calendar, and photos. Other subscribers are
group members with limited control: they may only add comments to existing
items. One or more members are group administrators. Administrators may invite
or remove other members to and from the group as well as assign permission
levels (such as contributor or administrator).
Click the create new button in one the blue "group blogs" or "my blogs"
headers on your homepage to create either a group or personal blog. If
you start a new group, you will be the group administrator by default. You may
also create a new blog from the my blogs page.
When you create a blog, you may title and describe it, as well as define its
CoreTalk domain prefix. The domain prefix defines your blog's web address. Note
that once a blog is created, its domain prefix can not change. You may
also choose a level of privacy and decide how your blog will look.
